Hola! We’re Ofelia and Liz, the co-owners, mother and daughter team behind. Tacos El Bueno Gusto. Ofelia began cooking traditional meals for friends and family in California back in 2000 and loved sharing her artistry with others. As an immigrant family we believe in the importance of hard work, ambition, and a will to succeed – we could not be more proud of what we’ve created with our company.
When our family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2004, Ofelia realized she had a real love for catering and sharing the unifying power of a delicious meal. I helped my mother build her passion into a business, starting with events roughly once a month, then quickly expanding across The Valley by word of mouth.
Creating a competitive food business hasn’t always been easy – there have certainly been plenty of tears and sleepless nights along the way. However, we learned from adversity and bounced back stronger than ever, learning from our early mistakes, and always improving.
We’d like to thank the hundreds of clients and staff who believe in us, and who have helped realize an immigrant dream by making Tacos El Buen Gusto a thriving local business.
